Earlier, fellow Blogbhartian Mridula had a similar issue. She got a measly compensation and they did run a correction where they squarely named the freelancer and said they took the photo without permission. In her case it was a magazine.

And they don’t disappoint. Mridula is surprised that the columnist would pit undergraduates against post-graduates within IITs. Confused is well, confused about what exactly about IIT makes the graduates proud when asked for a dance. Mind you, this is not about IIT-bashing but rather media bashing.

Image Plagiarism

In spite of sending a legal notice, the publisher Pranatha Books had refused to credit him for the photo [hat tip: Mridula].
