Growing up in a family full of food lovers, I've always been interested in eating and cooking and from a young age, mum had me in the kitchen helping out. As an adult, most of my TV viewing has revolved around Masterchef, Great British Menu and any other cooking related show. I celebrate, commiserate and everything in between with food. With all this in mind, I can't believe it took me until 27 to realise I needed to write a food blog and share this love! In June 2012 Gingey Bites was born and it has been growing steadily ever since, along with my pot belly! The blog covers cooking at home (my own and other peoples recipes) and restaurant reviews in and around the Leicestershire area as well as a smattering of other tasty bits and pieces.
