    October's Full Moon is sometimes called the "Hunter's Moon". It is the first Full Moon after the Harvest Moon which occurred on September 15th this year. It gets its name from hunters who tracked and killed their prey by autumn moonlight. The full Hunter's Moon will be the night of October 14/15 in 2008.
