All of the posters I have seen are anchored with the Iron Man wording which just jumps off the page, and literally whacks you in the face.

Clever marketers know this and will get the best people working on their identity and brand. Tim Girvin worked on the branding of Iron Man, and has a post on his blog about the work he did.
