This very dreary picture expresses my mood for today. I was doing a black & white exercise from a tutorial. I never did much with b&w so it's was a fun exercise. I am in a semi-bad mood today. He write's "Photo Trek." He has lots of hints and tips for all who love to take pictures. In Pennsylvania is Lisa who writes " Life On A Bison Farm." She and her family have a 230 acre farm, where virtually no animal who needs a home, is turned away. I particularly love to hear the stories of the many cats that live in the cat house, barn and main house on the bison farm.

What a long strange trip it's been

Lori over at Dusty Pages wrote about her need for "alone time" (and taught me a new word along the way: anchorite), and Lisa at Life on a Bison Farm wrote about the pathway that has brought her to her current life. Both of these wonderful women could have been writing about aspects of my own life.

I relate to her so much with the raising of kids and the life issues we face ... I can always count on her to be there when I am feeling down..... Lisa is a remarkable woman who raise animals of all kind but I love her stories on the bison farm (could be the Indian in me lol) She is very supportive and loving to her animals and her family and friends and I am truly blessed to be considered one of her
