    the two recipes that made it to the championship round, one had twice the amount of sugar as the other. I compromised and weighed out an amount equal to 1.5 times the weight of the fruit. I'm calling it fruit here because I'm tired of typing calyces, even though that's technically what they are. Having decided on a recipe, I had to gather up some equipment. Where is my 5-quart pan?     Pam/Digging gave me one for the Pink Entrance Garden in 2007. Until this summer I didn't want to cut them too much, so still used the dried Mexican oregano when cooking dishes like black beans.
